Oaks Music Studio instructors are independent professionals offering you private and group music lessons in a great learning environment right here in Thousand Oaks, CA (Ventura County).
Our mission is to assist professional private music instructors in growing and maintaining successful studios by providing exceptional studio space along with effective business solutions and support. We aim to raise the level of professionalism and prosperity among private music instructors, thereby fostering a higher standard of music education for students in the greater Thousand Oaks/Westlake Village area.
What Makes Us Different
Unlike other retail stores and music schools in the area, we don’t directly employ our teachers. They are independent professionals that own and operate their own teaching studios and rent our facilities as they need. This is a sustainable relationship that attracts established, high quality artists with experience and reduces teacher turnover and burnout; better for our teachers and for their students!
History
Thousand Oaks Musicians' Studio LLC was founded in Thousand Oaks, CA, in January 2007 as Iced Pita Music Lessons Inc. It was built with love from the ground up by husband and wife team Tyson Marquardt and Heidi Yost Marquardt for Heidi’s personal piano and vocal students.
The studio has since grown and transferred ownership to one of it’s own long-time woodwind teachers; Brian Clements-Tiberio, who has rebranded it and hopes to keep it an open and vibrant touchstone of what a music studio can be.
